The Mahaffey Apartment Company, owners and managers of over 8,000 apartment units in Central Florida is looking for a Full-time Grounds Crew person.

This position is located at our community in Tampa – Lake Carlton Arms – off Van Dyke Road by the Veterans Expressway.

Lake Carlton Arms provides its residents with luxurious country living within easy range of the city and its excitement. Lake Carlton Arms is lead by people who have been with the organization since the community started construction – 1986.

Full Time Grounds Person:

If hired, you would be responsible for all aspects of Grounds Maintenance including but not limited to: Weed Eating; Edging; Mowing; Sweeping; Garbage Collection; Back Pack Blower; Tree/plant trimming; Mulch installation; etc.  A Grounds Supervisor who has been with the property for several years will supervise you on your day-to-day responsibilities.

Job Specifics:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience
• 1 week vacation after one year
• 2 weeks vacation after two years and above
• Personal/Sick days on an escalating basis up to 5 per year
